Colette Jolicoeur
Colette Jolicoeur has over 38 years of family law experience, including all aspects of marital dissolution, custody and visitation disputes, support matters, paternity disputes, property division, child support enforcement, and marital settlement agreements.
Based on extensive expertise, our office effectively handles all dissolution-related issues, including the valuation of professional practices, closely held businesses, real estate and partnership interests, and pension and retirement interests. Ms. Jolicoeur is also experienced in representing clients regarding child custody and visitation disputes, as well as modifications of child support orders in accordance with Arizona law.
Ms. Jolicoeur, where appropriate, engages and works with qualified experts to properly value community property. In most instances, a thorough review and analysis of the client’s assets, liabilities and cash requirements, with cooperative assistance of opposing counsel, results in a fair and equitable settlement without the necessity of costly, protracted litigation. In the event litigation is indicated or results, our office aggressively and systematically purses all appropriate avenues to obtain the most favorable outcome for the client.
BACKGROUND
Colette Jolicoeur obtained her BA in English from the University of California at Berkeley in 1977. She received her JD from Hastings College of the Law in 1982.
Ms. Jolicoeur has extensive litigation experience, including trials, law and motion and discovery matters. She has handled complex family law, bankruptcy, business and real estate litigation, including title litigation, commercial leases and landlord-tenant matters. She has served as corporate counsel to several companies, including commercial property management companies, insurance agencies and an airport transportation company.
